How it works: Combo sets like this one (two hybrids plus six irons) make so much sense for those who struggle with long and mid-irons. QLS hybrids have a thin (0.5mm), light crown to shift mass lower plus internal weight pads (heel and toe) to buoy forgiveness. Tour Edge does a commendable job of giving the hybrids and irons a similar look, from face shape to sole width. QLS irons have a large undercut cavity to shift mass rearward. The thin face (2.2 mm) should provide pop while a cavity medallion softens feel. You can also get three hybrids and five irons for $50 more.
